What do you need to photograph?
Eight photography and film specialisms for premium projects in El Salvador and Central America. Pick yours and see what it covers, how it works and what drives the investment.
Request a visual proposal
Every project answers to a different goal.
An architecture studio wants the work recognised.
A developer needs to sell.
A hotel needs bookings.
An Airbnb needs to stand out among hundreds of listings.
That is why we do not sell “photo shoots”. We design strategic visual production built around the market each project competes in — and that difference shows up in rate, in pre-sales and in bookings.
Which one is you?
Each sector has its own buyer, its own market and its own metric. Find yours.
Hotels & Resorts
“The property has real quality, but we end up competing on price with hotels that do not.” Photography and film that turn the experience into desire, hold the rate and drive direct bookings. See service →Restaurants
“The kitchen is excellent, but the photos do not make anyone want to come.” Images of the room, the service and the plate that carry what eating there actually feels like. See service →Food & Beverage
“My product competes on a screen long before anyone tastes it.” Food styling, advertising photography and commercial spots for brands, franchises and QSR chains. Request a proposal →Lifestyle
“The spaces look good, but empty — the people who make them desirable are missing.” Real people inhabiting the space — the layer no architectural frame can carry on its own. See service →Airbnb & Vacation Rental
“The reviews are good, but I disappear among hundreds of listings.” Images built for Airbnb, Booking and VRBO: more clicks, stronger perception, a better nightly rate. See service →Real Estate Development
“I need to sell before delivery and all I have are renders.” Visual narrative from pre-sales to handover that lifts perceived value and shortens the path to a site visit. See service →Architects & Engineers
“The work is good, but the portfolio does not do it justice.” Editorial photography that reads the design — ready for portfolio, proposals and specialist press. See service →Technical Photography
“I need the build documented precisely, for a bid or a handover.” Documentation of works, installations and progress with traceability and verifiable proof. See service →Video Production
“I need my project to move, not just look good.” Cinematic film and drone for developments, hotels and brands that need more than a still photograph. Request a proposal →How it works

What determines the investment
- The real scope: how many spaces, units or dishes need covering.
- Whether it adds film, drone or a 360° tour on top of photography.
- Whether it includes lifestyle with people, which requires casting and scene direction.
- Logistics: shoot days needed, specific hours of light and travel.

Frequently asked questions
What does a visual production with Gatopardo Media cost?
We do not work from a fixed rate card, because scope drives cost: a 12-room boutique hotel is not the same as a full development with drone and film. The investment is determined by how many spaces are covered, whether it includes film, drone or a 360° tour, whether there is lifestyle with people, and how many shoot days it needs. The initial call and the proposal are free.
Do you work outside El Salvador?
Yes. We are based in San Salvador with full national coverage, including the coast and Surf City. We have delivered productions in Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama, and premium vacation rental projects in the United States.
Do you work on pre-sales or pre-opening projects?
Yes, and it is often when photography pays off most. In real estate development we produce visual narrative from pre-sales through handover, before there are finished units to show. In hospitality we shoot before opening, with no guests or diners in the space. If the project is at that stage, we take the lead on preparation and you approve.
How long does delivery take?
It depends on scope and whether film is included. A photography shoot is delivered edited within days; a production with film, drone and several cuts per channel needs more post-production time. The exact timeline is written into the proposal, before production starts.
Can I use the images anywhere?
Yes. We deliver unlimited usage rights: your website, OTAs such as Booking and Airbnb, social media, press, campaigns and print. The images are yours.
What do I need to prepare before a shoot?
We send preparation notes space by space before producing. If this is your first professional shoot, or the project is pre-opening, we take the lead: we organise and you approve.
Do you produce film as well as photography?
Yes, to the same standard. We produce cinematic film, professional drone, 360° tours and channel cutdowns across the same eight sectors we cover in photography; you can see the detail on our video production page.
What backs your work in hospitality?
Álvaro Mayorga, co-founder of Gatopardo Media, is part of the Airbnb Professional Photography Program and a Marriott brand-approved photographer. That standard is applied to every property, whether boutique, independent or part of a chain.
